This book takes us on a fascinating journey through the world of philosophy in an easy, accessible read. It stands out from other introductions to philosophy because it uses everyday experiences to explain philosophical concepts and shows that life has more meaning when seen through this discipline. Mendo Henriques and Nazaré Barros bring philosophy out into the public square—where it began—and introduce readers to the world of consciousness as the key to understanding what surrounds us: science, politics, art, religion, economy, metaphysics, communication and ethics. This book is for those who do not fit in with the norm, since philosophy is for everyone who dares to think for themselves..
