Javier Gomá Lanzón
Exemplary Tetralogy

(Tetralogía de la ejemplaridad)

Commercial Non-Fiction / Divulgation

  • Published: 01/10/2014

Each one of the books in this tetralogy can be read on its own, but at the same time the four comprise a unit on the idea of exemplariness: its history and general theory (Imitación y experiencia), its subjective formation (Aquiles en el gineceo), its application to the political sphere (Ejemplaridad pública) and its relationship to hope (Necesario pero imposible). This edition is the culmination of a literary philosophical plan that the author has been working on for many years. An intelligent work that analyzes how to become individual in this world and, at the same time, how to hope to become individual outside of it.
